25 lessons with me left
108 actual days left
2 sections to the exam
32 marks in my question

19th May 2016

Have you got a Media Studies File?

If not, get one. I am going to give you articles and handouts, and worksheets you will want to revise from.

Those resources should go into one central location.

I will provide a small, easy to manage file for your Case Study when we start it.

Have you got your Mr Rose Assessment Book?

I allow (in fact encourage) notes to be taken in these books. They become a great revision aid.

I WILL be getting you to write PEE PARAGRAPHS in these books often.

You will independently research how the media has changed for both audiences and institutions, in respect to two broadcast texts.

You will investigate the contemporary media landscape and the changing contexts within which media texts are produced and consumed.

You will explore how the audience receives, responds or interacts with media texts, and how this audience interaction has changed through the use of new technology.

You will explore how your products represent the people or places featured, and how this is communicated to the audience across all three platforms.
